You understand your ability better than others, so you should able to make the decision better. We are familiar with GISS GCMs and have the tools we created eariler so we can write the programs in one or two days. The programs are simple enough that even GISS AOM does not provide these ptograms. On the other hand, it will take quite a lot of time to get familar with GISS GCMs.

There are at least two ways to create the time series: one is to create the times series from the acc files and the second is from the "maps". I have written programs for both methods for my own work on GISS AOM. I do not know which method Gary has used for his GISS AOM.

Basically, the people who can really do this would not talk about this because we can finished the job within the time we talked about it.
